Radiation in our life

As we know radiation is an energy that travels through space, and its most familiar form is the sunshine.Living things really need sunlight because it gives us the heat and light needed for surviving but we also have to consider its bad effect in our body when too much exposure to it. The reason that creates the hazard is for the sunshine consists of radiation in a range of wavelengths from long to short-wavelength ultraviolet.By the way, ultraviolet are higher energy kinds of radiation which we are using now in our medicines.I the help of radiation we also now have medical and dental X-ray to detect hidden problems in the body. We can refer to this kind of radiation that can cause damage to matter particular in the living tissue is the ionizing radiation. So at high levels it is dangerous, that's why in controlling from too much exposure we have now the sunglasses, shade, clothes etc.for our protection.
